We are delighted to be sponsoring an established women’s rugby team in Leamington Spa for the second season.

Rugby is one of the countries fastest growing female sports with 30,000 women and girls regularly playing at clubs across the country.

Roger Coy explains why he feels so passionately about supporting Women’s Sport:

With the recent success of the Red Roses in the Women’s Six Nations Tournament we think that it is particularly important time to get involved with Women’s sport. The number of female rugby players is increasing year on year and any investment into the sport will help to boost popularity, spectator numbers and most importantly abolish the negative stereotype surrounding women playing contact sports.

Old Leamingtonians Womens Team are entering their 33rd season at ‘The Crofts’ in Leamington Spa, competing in an NC2 league with 9 other teams.
