Design for a heath care facility within the open countryside

Project Included:
- Design of contemporary care unit associated with an existing converted Grade 2* listed residential care home
- A sweeping green roof was developed to create a sense of place and to enable the proposed building to sit within its rural context and to minimise the visual impact.
- We chose a vernacular palette of materials which includes locally sourced stone and timber boarding all to encourage the new building to recede into the open countryside.
