Siemens Group
The practice has undertaken architectural design work for Demag, part of the Siemens Group,
including the formation of new offices at Banbury, Oxfordshire and the renovation of existing
commercial space to accommodate the latest technology and infrastructure.
John Nicholls (Banbury) Ltd
Design work by the practice to adapt commercial premises at Banbury for use as a plumbing
centre, has helped John Nicolls Ltd to expand its commercial coverage of the midlands.
Royal Oak Public House, Eydon, Northamptonshire
None of the "old English pub" atmosphere has been lost in the complete renovation of the
18th century Royal Oak (pictured top, centre). The pub was purchased from the landlady of 50 years by our client who
asked us to redesign the interior in period style, the results were remarkable. The Royal Oak's popularity
has led us to be asked on numerous occasions to create extra rooms and additional seating for this
popular village pub.
Office Conversion, Chipping Warden, Oxfordshire
Appletree Farmyard (pictured right) has been converted from an existing farm estate office and barn into a modern office
complex. Care was taken to ensure that the new offices still blend in with the architecture of the
area. This project was short-listed for a local architecture award in 2001.
Shoe Shop, Northamptonshire
The Shoe Shop in Woodford Halse dominates the centre of this busy village, so we have many
items to consider with pedestrian and vehicular access. As the building is such a recognisable feature we
also have to try and be as subtle as we can and consider all surrounding buildings with any schemes we implement.
